Get the Windows XP sound scheme and XP song on Windows 7.

This also works on Windows 8 and Windows Vista as well as Windows 7.

Miss the Windows XP sounds and Windows XP songs on Windows 7,Windows 8 and Windows Vista? Here is how you can get them back.

To install the Windows XP sounds such as the XP start up sound and log on or log off sound and also the Windows XP song on Windows 7,Windows Vista or Windows 8.You need to copy all of the sound files from Windows XP found in Windows/Media folder and then place them in the Windows/Meda folder on Windows 7,Windows Vista or Windows 8.

The Windows XP song called Title can be found on Windows XP in Windows/System 32 and then you go to Oobe folder and then open the Images folder where you will find the sound file,Title.

Then on Windows 7,Windows Vista and Windows 8,place the Windows XP song,Title in Windows/Media folder where the sound files are.

The Windows XP sounds and Windows XP song are now installed on Windows 7. And although you cannot change the start up sound on Windows 7,Windows Vista and Windows 8.You can still use all of the Windows XP sounds in other sounds, such as log on and log off in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Note, there is no log on or log off sound in Windows 8 Consumer Preview. But you can still use the Windows XP sounds in other things, such as default beep or new mail notification. And the Windows XP song works on Windows 7,Windows Vista and Windows 8.
